‘The Soup’: A stepping stone for Joel McHale

Is The Soup series proving lucky for its hosts or is it just that people are using it for their own benefits? Well it’s nothing much but it’s just that the hosts of the show, in one way or the other are having good time when it’s coming to attain fame and some good work in the industry.

The host of the show ‘Talk Soup’ if you guys remember was Greg Kinnear, who now is an actor. It seems that he used the show to become famous and pave his way to the film industry. Now, it is Joel McHale, the present host of the show ‘The Soup’. Joel, too, has become quite famous with the show and subsequently is getting many more acting assignments.

Besides being the host of the weekly, The Soup, Joel also appears on the Saturday night in a comedy concert at Baltimore’s Meyerhoff Symphony Hall. And the latest news that we have about the comedian Joel McHale is that he is going to be a part of the NBC’s new fall series ‘The Community’ along with comedy veteran Chevy Chase.

Besides all this, soon we will be seeing him on the big screen too, where he will appear in the Steven Soderbergh’s dark comedy thriller ‘The Informant’, along with Matt Damon. McHale will play an FBI agent in the film.
